Nick Lyons -- a cappella recording genius.

Though proud of each of his many accomplishments, fifteen-year aca-veteran Nick Lyons is a little bit on the humble side. He isn’t necessarily concerned with telling the world about his degree in Music Education with Voice Concentration from UNC Greensboro, for example. He blushes when described as a founder of the UNCG Sapphires (though the blush may have something to do with the fact that his stunning new aca-wife was also a Sapphire). He doesn’t really like bragging about his performances in the original CARA-winning incarnation of transit or with Almost Recess on the CARA-nominated Number 2. He shrugs a bit when people start talking about the fact that he was AACI President for two years, or his multiple CARA wins, nominations as a triple-threat performer/producer/arranger, and BOCA-featured arrangements.

No, despite these decidedly awesome acheivements, Nick doesn’t like to toot his own horn. So if you really want to get him in chatterbox mode, ask him about “Operation Bring Sexy Back.” We promise: he’ll talk your ear off.
