Profile: Angela Ugolini
Engineer
Angela began her a cappella career in home territory at Florida State University, where she directed the award-winning all-female group, AcaBelles, and led the lovelies to ICCA finals as the ‘09 South Champions. She also co-produced their latest album, Just Got Real (which was nominated for three of this year’s CARA Awards, BTW). Since then, she’s studied audio engineering, sung with The Red States and founded NYC’s newest all-female group, Empire, where she’s serving as musical director. Along with fella TVC’er Lo Barreiro, she’s also a member of Musae, another smokin’ new all-female group. When she’s not singing in four places at once, Angela likes long walks on the beach, puppies and ice cream.
