SoJam is Coming!!!

SoJam is coming… the goose is getting fat… hm wrong holiday, huh? Wait. SoJam? A holiday? You better believe it is!

Think about it, SoJam is when all your closest aca-family travels from far and wide to all be in the same place for just a few days. You laugh, you learn, you meet new family. You sing, you dance, and there is eating and drinking… So, that’s a holiday, right? It’s like Aca-giving!

Well you can bet that all of us at The Vocal Company are whipping up something special. (Word on the street is that Nick makes a pretty amazing homemade pizza and we’re still pretty sure that Ugolini is a kind of pasta, so hope y’all like Italian food!) Oh and don’t worry, we’re bringing the aca-goodness too!

First and foremost, Mark is the Executive Producer. Yea, I’m talking head honcho! Man in charge! The boss! (Well that term seems to have already been taken, but you get what I mean.) Seriously, Mark means business. (swidt?) And Nick? Well when he’s not busy putting pizzas in the oven, you might see him around dropping his knowledge on attendees and just being generally awesome.

The ladies of TVC are doing our thang too! Jill will be laying down her beatz, as she is known to do, in a very exclusive class she’ll be teaching. And our Beantown team? Angela and I can’t wait to go home to the South! We’ll just be PERFORMING at the Collegiate Competition on Friday night with our group, Musae! I mean… you know… no bigs. They’ll also be taking part in and leading a ton of workshops and masterclasses throughout the weekend.

There is literally no way to miss us at SoJam! But really, you know who you can’t miss? Uhh Naturally 7 and the Boxettes... duh! It’s your chance to see two of the best a cappella groups in the world. Last time Naturally 7 was at SoJam people clapped for a week! Seriously. The venue staff was still kicking people out a week later! We’re pretty sure of it.

Angela and I won’t be the only Bostonians there either. The gentlemen of Overboard will be sharing the stage with Musae on Friday night. Actually, now that i think about it, people are coming from all over the world to celebrate! We hear that places like Los Angeles, Chicago, Florida, Germany, and Singapore will be represented. Best holiday ever! Totes!

Basically, we can’t wait to be surrounded by our friends/clients, and those we’ll hopefully be welcoming to the family soon! We’re all buzzing with excitement and hope you are too. Don’t be a stranger - come say hi to all of us. See you there!
