SMACC: It’s a Wonderful Place To Be

The good peeps at The Vocal Company are still recovering from the very first inaugural premiere of the introductory annual Social Media A Cappella Conference (abbreviated…oh, never mind), held April 1-3 at Syracuse University. The epic weekend fused slammin’ a cappella talent with cutting-edge social media discussion and education; according to Mark Hines, Newhouse was “teeming with Loud…seriously, folks, it was a wonderful place to be.” Check out the event schedule for the veritable cornucopia of a cappella and social media goodness, including classes taught and panels moderated by The Vocal Company’s very own contingent.

Along with Hines, Lo Barreiro and Angela Ugolini were there representin’ @TheVocalCompany (swidt?), while Nick Lyons and Kali held down the fort back in NC. And while they tweeted and Facebooked (it’s a verb, damn it) their way through the weekend, they had to give their thumbs a break at some point (rumor has it SMACC2012 will include a Carpal Tunnel Prevention session).
