We’ll clean up all the miniscule gremlins that are a natural result of the recording process so each song is on time and in tune. We’ll line everything up where it belongs, cut it off when it’s supposed to end, and make it tiiiiiiiiiight so that each piece of a cappella goodness is ready for mixing.
Now, let’s get one thing clear, yo: even though editing is highly technical and might not be as sexy as some of the other things a cappella producers do, it takes years of practice and expertise to get it right. And quite frankly, we’re awesome at it.
